One more reason to come online!

Posted On Sunday, Jan 01, 1950

If lack of a net-banking facility and an untreatable paranoia about online security measures had kept you from using Quantum's paperless Invest Online platform, here's some good news. Quantum Mutual Fund now offers you a new payment option for online transactions, 'Prepaid Cards'.

A Prepaid card is a card that comes filled with a specified amount. You then transact using this card, and your investment amount is deducted from the balance on the card. With a prepaid card your liability (if unfortunately ever) with regards to the usage of this card is only as much as the amount that you have chosen to pre-load it with. Hence, if nightmares of phishing attacks or hacking stories have compelled you to ignore the benefits of investing online, then prepaid cards could be your knight in shining armour.

1. What's in it for you?

Full ValueWhat you Pay for the card, becomes the amount you can spend on the card.

No hidden costQuantum Mutual Fund will not charge you any additional charges to avail of this facility.

Safe and Secure PaymentLimited liability, no linkage to your bank account, no scope for hacking into your savings.

Through these cards you could also induct your children or acquaintances, who are yet to open their own bank account, to the world of investing. We have always maintained that the earlier you start investing, the better it is in the long run.

2. Does it change your online process?

Yes! It adds more convenience, control and security to your online investments with Quantum Mutual Fund. Other than that, your online investment process remains absolutely same. All you need to do is select – Prepaid Card – as your payment choice while investing online. You will then be guided to provide your card number and PIN to confirm your transaction.

The transaction limit for investing via Prepaid cards is Rs.50,000 and all entities which issue pre-paid cards are regulated by RBI, (and has its issuance parameters defined by RBI)  ensuring that this medium is truly safe. Our present service provider is iCash Cards. However, we would be looking at adding more service providers to this list shortly.

3. Are you thinking about using this option the next time you invest online?

If you are, then log on to www.iCashCard.in to read more about this option and purchase your own Prepaid card. So now that we have taken out the last little challenge that has kept you away from the simple way to invest online, we look forward to seeing you online soon.

Write back to us with any feedback or query that you may have. We’re always pleased to hear from you.

Have a great week ahead!
